
Robert Trippe has served as vice president of finance and CFO for AMP since 1991. Prior to coming to AMP, he was with the Detroit Edison Company where he was CFO of Detroit Edison’s Diversified Subsidiaries.
Throughout his time at AMP, Trippe has also been active on a national scale, serving as both chair and vice chair of the American Public Power Association’s business and financial group. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Missouri State University.
Trippe has been involved in issuing over $1 billion in securities for the organization, and is currently coordinating financial efforts and contract development for the generation projects under development.
As senior vice president of finance and CFO, Trippe oversees all accounting and treasury, finance, cash management and information technology functions for the organization.
